First Response Detector

The Frist Response Detector (FRD) is a device developed by myself and my brother Krish. The idea formed when our family was driving back home and all of a sudden my dad pulled over to the side of the road. The rest of us didn't know why he did this until we saw an ambulance speed by our van. It was at this moment we realized that we were so distracted in our conversation that we didn't notice an emergency responder approaching. And so began the invention of FRD.

The overall function of the FRD is to detect approaching emergency vehicles from a three-quarter mile distance, and alert civilian drivers of their approach using visual and audio ques.
