First Response Detector (FRD)

The first response detector is a device that detects emergency vehicles from a three quarter mile radius and alerts civilian drivers of their approach. This device uses radio communication technology to transmit and recieve data and displays it through the working of a microcontroller and integrated LCD display.

Movement Aid For the Visually Impaired (MAVI)

The MAVI is a device that uses open source hardware and sensor technology to help blind and visually impaired individuals navigate around their surrounding without the use of a cane.

DSTR Rover

The DSTR Rover is a project worked on throught the sponsorship of TI partnered with Texas A&M University. We used the TI open source hardware called Energia to program this rover, and used WiFi to control it.
